TINT Gallery in Hayes Valley, San Francisco will be hosting this handbuilding class as we gain inspiration from the current exhibit on view, Lay Bare, to create a beautifully textured cylinder vase. After building our vases the remaining workshop time will be spent carving designs and attaching pieces to the outside of our forms using various handbuilding techniques. After the workshop, Bri of Sumiware Ceramics will glaze and fire your amazing handmade pieces and return them to TINT for pick-up within 3-4 weeks.
